Job summary

H&R Block in Iowa is seeking an entry-level Tax Interview Assistant to help begin and end the tax interview. You will enter client and W-2 information into the tax program, assemble the tax return, obtain required signatures, and review the finished product with the client.

You will strive to ensure every client receives superior service, communicate effectively in person and on the phone, and work with Windows-based software. Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into tax program at interview start.
• Assemble tax return, obtain signatures, review with client at closing.
• Ensure all clients receive superior service.
