Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Tax Reporting Analyst to support global clients by reviewing and validating tax documentation (e.g., W-8, W-9, 1099, CRS) and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate data collection, return generation, and client reviews, working with the Outsourcing Delivery team within Tax Solutions to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in front-facing client service role with excellent client service ethos and communication skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas/v-lookups, etc.)
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and good multitasking skills with ability to meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct tax document return and transmittal examination for IRS forms and CRS, ensuring completeness and accuracy based on operational standards and regulatory/jurisdictional requirements.
• Act as client relationship lead for tax reporting processes as they relate to data collection, return generation, client review, and timely preparation/submission of applicable returns.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients and handle both day-to-day account review processes and urgent escalations in a professional and timely manner.
