Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence, part of S&P Global, is hiring a Tax Reporting Analyst in the United States to support outsourcing delivery for tax documentation review and submission. You will lead client-facing tax reporting, ensure accuracy, and stay compliant with IRS and CRS requirements.

Qualifications include 1–3 years in client service, strong Excel skills, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. The role offers an incentive plan and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in front-facing client service role with excellent client service ethos and communication skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas/v-lookups, etc.)
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and good multitasking skills with ability to meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct tax document review and validation (IRS Forms 1099, 1042, 8966 and CRS XMLs)
• Act as client relationship lead for tax reporting processes from data collection to submission
• Serve as primary contact for assigned clients and manage day-to-day reviews and escalations
• Provide SME guidance on tax guidance and industry best practices
• Address tax compliance and remediation requests with clients per IRS regulations and Outsourcing protocol
• Monitor regulatory developments impacting withholding and reporting requirements
• Answer questions on S&P developed software and tax return validation logic; participate in status conferences
• Demonstrate ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately
• Comply with all company policies including data protection and confidentiality
• Pass required drug testing and background checks as required
