Job summary

Green Key Resources, on behalf of a global alternative investment firm, seeks a Tax Provision Manager in New York to lead the consolidated income tax provision, ASC 740 calculations, and related tax reporting and SOX controls.

The role requires a CPA and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with 7+ years of income tax experience. Strong Excel and tax software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• 7+ years of income tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidated quarterly and annual income tax provision per ASC 740 with tax rate calculations and deferred tax schedules.
• Perform return-to-provision analyses and reconcile tax returns to provisions; support federal/state tax compliance.
• Forecast cash tax requirements and assess tax consequences of business initiatives; assist with tax planning and modeling.
• Support tax due diligence and transactions (M&A, restructurings, etc.) and monitor evolving tax laws affecting the organization.
