Job summary

Stout is seeking a Senior Vice President/Director to enhance their Accounting & Reporting Advisory practice in Illinois. The successful candidate will lead complex ASC 740 deliverables and supervise a dynamic team, managing projects while identifying tax risks.

With over 8 years of required tax experience, the ideal individual has a CPA and excels in fostering client relationships. Stout offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program, fostering professional growth through training and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of tax experience in a Big Four, national accounting firm, or large corporate tax department.
• Demonstrated expertise in industries such as manufacturing, CPG, life sciences, and healthcare.
• CPA required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of complex ASC 740 deliverables.
• Supervise and develop analysts, associates, and managers.
• Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax matters.

Skills

Detailed knowledge of ASC 740

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Strong relationship‑building skills

Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting

Education
