Job summary

EY is seeking a Tax Accounting and Risk Manager in a hybrid US role to enhance tax control environments and assist with tax provision processes. You will guide teams, advise clients, and focus on quality, efficiency, and risk reduction across tax reporting and compliance.

You will work with senior professionals, mentor others, and travel ~50% with opportunities to grow within a global firm and diverse teams. A CPA or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; MST/MAcc/JD/LLM preferred.
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant tax or legal experience.
• CPA certification or licensed attorney status.
• Strong ASC 740 and IAS 12 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver tax accounting and risk solutions with focus on quality and risk management.
• Identify process improvements and implement innovative solutions using research and best practices.
• Guide and supervise others to deliver complex technical initiatives with depth of expertise.
• Ensure performance objectives include client service, quality, risk management, and growth.
