H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to interview clients, prepare returns, and help grow the client base. You’ll deliver expert tax support with a team focused on accuracy and customer care using virtual and in-person tools.

The role requires engagement with diverse tax needs, training from seasoned experts, and compliance with IRS/state rules. This position is on-site in Willmar, MN with a flexible seasonal schedule.

Joining H&R Block, as a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional means you’ll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing you with advanced tax training you’ll need to be successful.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

Pay Range

$20.00 - $35.00/Hr.
