H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Tax Professional to interview clients and prepare complete tax returns, both in person and via virtual tools. You will help grow client relationships and provide IRS support as part of a supportive team.

The role requires CPA or EA certification and significant tax experience in a fast-paced environment. This is a seasonal, part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling and training provided.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

  • Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation
• Mentor and support teammates

Your Expertise:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

Pay Range

$20.00 - $35.00/Hr.
