H&R Block1 is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, backed by an expert team and advanced training to help you succeed. You will conduct tax interviews, prepare complete and accurate returns, and help grow the client base while ensuring IRS compliance and quality service across engagements.

Qualified candidates typically hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA or EA certification, 5+ years in accounting or tax, and openness

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
