Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an experienced Tax Professional to assist clients with complex tax needs and to deliver advanced training and support. You will conduct interviews, prepare returns, and help grow the business while delivering excellent client service.

The role emphasizes seasonal engagement, remote and in-person client interactions, and collaboration with a team of tax experts to ensure accurate filings and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
