H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and provide advanced tax training to support success. You will work with an expert team to interview clients, prepare returns, and offer additional services.

The role emphasizes client relationships, tax knowledge, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment using virtual tools.

Qualifications

• Experience completing complex returns for individuals, trusts and partnerships.
• Ability to conduct virtual tax interviews via video, phone, chat or email.
• Knowledge of tax planning, audit support and client advisory services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
