Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs at the franchise office. You’ll rely on an expert team and advanced tax training to deliver accurate returns and insightful guidance.

You will conduct tax interviews face-to-face and via virtual tools, prepare complete and accurate tax returns, and help grow the office by increasing client retention and offering additional products and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing individual returns (tax).
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax (5+ years).
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet IRS/state requirements.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
