This position may be structured as seasonal or full-time, with flexible employment arrangements available, including W-2 or independent contractor options.

The firm emphasizes long-term client relationships and high-quality work rather than billable-hour quotas or high-volume tax preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys providing personalized service, developing meaningful client relationships, and working within a collaborative environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual, business, and trust tax returns.
  • Research and resolve complex tax issues.
  • Assist clients with federal and state tax matters.
  • Identify and implement tax-planning strategies.
  • Provide thoughtful, personalized support based on individual client needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive client service.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience preparing individual and business tax returns preferred.
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and processes.
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and general computer applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete multiple time-sensitive tasks.
  • Demonstrated integrity and discretion when handling confidential client information.
  • Strong commitment to collaboration and exceptional client service.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Seasonal and full-time opportunities available.
  • W-2 and independent contractor options available.
  • Emphasis on thoughtful tax planning and personalized service rather than high-volume production.
  • Opportunity to work with individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates.
  • Opportunity to help grow an expanding tax practice.
  • Collaborative, relationship-focused work environment.
  • Competitive compensation.

Full-time employees are eligible for:

  • Company-paid health insurance.
