Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax Retail Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location, delivering hands-on tax preparation, personalized advice, and customer service in a local community setting.

You will grow the client base, provide tax solutions, and collaborate with marketing and financial experts to build long-term relationships while representing the brand in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador representing TurboTax locally and as the public face in the community.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Lead and participate with TurboTax in local marketing to make taxes approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and refunds.
• Utilize government resources, professional tools, and team expertise for accurate tax solutions.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and genuine care.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools.
