H&R Block in Sharpsburg, GA is seeking an entry-level tax assistant to support busy tax season workflows. You will help begin the tax interview by entering client information, including W-2 data, into the tax program, and assist with closing tasks to finish the return accurately.

You'll review the finished product with clients, collect signatures, and perform bookkeeping steps as needed. The role emphasizes delivering superior service and adherence to state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsabilités

What You’ll Bring To The Team

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned

Your Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional course work in math, accounting, or finance
