Job summary

H&R Block in East Liverpool, Ohio is seeking a Tax Associate to assist with the tax interview process and client service throughout the tax return preparation cycle.

You'll input client and W-2 information, assemble returns, obtain signatures, review the finished product with the client, while maintaining accurate bookkeeping procedures and delivering superior service. The role emphasizes clear communication, basic math and reading skills, and familiarity with Windows-based software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.
