H&R Block in Rosiclare, IL is seeking an entry-level Tax Interview Assistant. You will help begin tax interviews by entering client and W-2 data into the tax software and assist in closing interviews with tax return assembly and signatures.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, clear client communication, and delivering superior service. Prior Windows experience and basic math skills are preferred, with state/local requirements possibly applying.

Your Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional course work in math, accounting, or finance
