Job summary

H&R Block in Belfast, ME is seeking a team member to support the tax interview process, entering client and W-2 information into the tax program and helping assemble returns for filing. You will assist with closing the interview by gathering signatures and reviewing the finished product with the client to ensure accuracy.

In this role, you will ensure every client receives superior service while adhering to applicable state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply
