Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an entry-level Tax Associate to assist with gathering client information and W-2 data during tax interviews, typically in a retail office.

You will support the closing process by assembling returns, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the product with clients, while performing basic bookkeeping steps.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.
