Job summary

H&R Block in Lincoln, IL is seeking an entry-level Tax Interview Assistant to support the tax preparation process. You’ll help start tax interviews by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program and assist with closing the interview by assembling returns and obtaining signatures.

You will ensure all clients receive superior service, communicate effectively in person and on the phone, and perform bookkeeping procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.
