Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an entry-level Tax Interview Assistant in Jacksonville, TX. You’ll help start tax interviews by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program and ensure accurate data collection.

You’ll also support the closing of interviews by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the final product with clients, while maintaining superior service and compliance with state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.
