H&R Block, Inc. is looking for a team member to assist with tax interview processes in Forest City, IA. You will enter client and W-2 information, help assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, and review the final product with clients. Strong service focus is required to ensure client satisfaction.

Role emphasizes accuracy in data entry, good communication by phone and in person, and willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsabilités

• Enter client and W-2 information at the start of the tax interview.
• Assemble the tax return, obtain signatures, review with the client, and complete bookkeeping.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients receive superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned

Your Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional course work in math, accounting, or finance
