Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Norwalk, OH is seeking a part-time team member to help guide clients through the tax interview process and ensure accurate data entry. The role focuses on delivering excellent service while supporting tax preparation tasks.

You will start by entering client and W-2 information, assist with closing the interview by assembling the tax return and obtaining signatures, and review the completed product with the client to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills needed to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based programs; state/local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program at the start of the interview.
• Assemble the tax return, obtain required signatures, and review the product with the client.
• Provide superior service to all H&R Block clients.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional course work in math, accounting, or finance
