Job summary

H&R Block in Bandera, Texas is seeking an entry-level associate to help guide clients through the tax interview, collecting client and W-2 information, and ensuring a smooth start to the process.

You’ll assemble returns, obtain signatures, review the finished product with clients, and complete bookkeeping tasks, while delivering courteous, accurate service and adhering to local requirements.

Your Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional course work in math, accounting, or finance
