Job summary

H&R Block in Michigan is seeking a detail-oriented team member to assist with the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.

You will help close interviews by assembling tax returns, obtaining signatures, reviewing the product with clients, and completing bookkeeping procedures while ensuring all clients receive superior service. This role supports local franchise operations with on-site training and growth opportunities during tax season.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills needed to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
