Job summary

H&R Block in Calhoun, GA is seeking a detail-oriented tax assistant to help begin and close the tax interview, entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.

You will assemble the tax return, obtain signatures, review the finished product with the client, and support bookkeeping procedures while delivering superior service.

Previous experience with Windows-based software and basic math skills will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.
