Job summary

H&R Block in Utah is seeking an entry-level teammate to assist with the tax interview process. You’ll enter client and W-2 information, assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review the finished product with clients to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, solid reading and math skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone. Prior experience with Windows-based software is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assemble the tax return, obtaining required signatures, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Review the finished product with the client to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Assist with the closing of the interview and ensure superior service to all clients.
• All other duties as assigned
