Adams, Jenkins and Cheatham is a growing full-service public accounting firm in Midlothian, VA. We are adding Tax Preparers to work with the Tax team to perform bookkeeping and accounting services for multiple clients in a deadline-driven environment.

This full-time role requires a team-oriented, self-starting professional who can interact professionally with clients and staff. Essential functions include preparing entity tax returns, sales and local tax filings, and supporting special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Must have 2+ years of prior experience with entity tax returns/bookkeeping.
• Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel; knowledge of Thomson Reuters Software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entity tax returns and associated documents.
• Prepare sales and other local tax filings.
• Assist with special projects, depending on the needs of the Partners and/or staff.
• Working knowledge of entity income tax returns and preparation is a plus.

We are adding Tax Preparers who will work with the Tax team, to perform bookkeeping and accounting services to multiple clients in a challenging role. This position is full-time. We are looking for a team-oriented professional who is a motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a deadline driven environment. You must be able to interact well with others and be able to represent our firm in a competent and professional manner.
