Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a team member in Woodstock, AL to support the tax interview process, entering client and W-2 data, and helping assemble tax returns. You will help close interviews, obtain signatures, review results with clients, and complete bookkeeping steps.

Strong communication, basic math and reading skills, and familiarity with Windows-based programs are required. Additional state/local requirements may apply. This is a franchise role with a focus on delivering superior client service.

Qualifications

• Must have basic reading and math skills to complete tax interview
• Excellent in-person and phone communication is required
• Experience using Windows-based software is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist at the start of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist at interview closing by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, reviewing with client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients receive superior service
• Perform all other duties as assigned
