Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a tax interview assistant at our Minnesota franchise location.

You will help start the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program and finish by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the finished product with the client. Strong math and reading skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
