Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Master’s Degree in Taxation or MBA preferred.
• Five to ten years of recent public accounting tax experience.
• Two or more years of management experience in a CPA or tax practice.
• Ability to deliver high quality work under tight timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals by providing mentorship and guidance.
• Collaborate with wealth advisors to deliver integrated tax and financial planning strategies.
• Engage directly with clients, providing proactive tax advice.
• Review and sign complex tax returns (individual, fiduciary, small business).
• Coordinate tax planning activities including quarterly estimates and year-end strategies.
• Drive efficiency by improving tax department processes and leveraging technology.
