The ideal candidate has CPA/EA credentials or is pursuing them, with 3–5 years of public accounting tax experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license preferred; CPA candidate acceptable; EA acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Review tax laws to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Participate in tax planning and identify tax savings strategies for clients.
• Explain tax laws to clients and gather required information.
• Train junior Tax Associates in preparing returns and standards.
• Develop and refine processes to ensure consistent client experience and meet SLA.
• Monitor KPIs for Tax team and coach members toward goals.
