Qualifications

• Active CPA or EA license is required.
• Master's in taxation or MBA preferred.
• 5–7 years in public accounting focused on federal returns for individuals, fiduciaries, and small business (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnerships).
• Management experience in a CPA or tax practice with mentoring/leading associates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage tax team members, sharing expertise and training.
• Collaborate with wealth advisors to implement tax strategies aligned with client plans.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a reliable planning and compliance contact.
• Review and sign complex tax returns for individuals, fiduciaries, and small businesses.
• Coordinate tax planning activities, including quarterly estimates and year-end strategies.
• Identify efficiencies and support adoption of new tools and workflows.
• Communicate clearly via client emails, memos, and planning documents.
• Foster collaboration between tax and wealth teams for shared client understanding.
