Jobot is seeking a Tax Partner with a transferrable book of business to lead our tax department in Tampa, FL. This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established firm with resources and equity-based compensation, allowing you to bring your client base or merge your practice.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of tax consulting experience, CPA, and a proven ability to grow a portfolio of clients while delivering high-level planning and compliance services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive tax consulting and compliance experience.
• Proven ability to manage a book of business and generate new clients.
• CPA license required; advanced degree preferred (Masters in Taxation or JD/LLM).

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the tax department to deliver high-quality tax services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand business and tax needs.
• Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance advice to clients.
• Review complex income tax returns (1065, 1120, 1120S, Schedule C).
• Identify and mitigate tax risks and transactional implications.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
• Generate new business by leveraging relationships and market analysis.
• Collaborate with team to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
• Stay updated on tax legislation to provide timely solutions.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
