LJB CPA is seeking a seasoned tax leader to guide strategic direction for the tax practice in a dynamic growth environment. The role focuses on delivering high-value tax guidance, client advisory services, and leadership to cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have CPA credentials, 15+ years in tax accounting within a CPA or public accounting setting, and a deep understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in tax accounting with leadership in a CPA firm or public practice.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in data analysis and tax software tools.
• Exceptional leadership and strategic planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership for the tax practice and firm growth.
• Build and cultivate strong client relationships as trusted tax advisor.
• Oversee a portfolio of complex tax engagements across industries.
• Mentor and develop tax teams to foster growth and leadership.
• Stay updated on evolving tax laws and industry best practices.
• Manage tax engagement budgets and resources to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Prepare and present comprehensive tax reports and recommendations to clients and leadership.
