Job summary

AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, seeks a Tax Operations professional to support the Americas region. The role focuses on tax compliance, IFRS and statutory reporting, and coordinating outsourced providers, with an emphasis on technology-enabled process improvements.

Based in the United States, Bermuda, or Canada, you will collaborate with tax leadership to drive efficiency and accuracy in tax submissions and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field.
• Extensive public accounting and/or industry tax experience, preferably including U.S. insurance taxation.
• Robust tax accounting and reporting experience focused on IFRS and statutory reporting.
• Automation mindset with ability to implement technology-enabled improvements to tax processes and controls.
• Experience managing outsourced provider deliverables and coordinating cross-functional inputs.
• Strong project management, analytical, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the U.S. tax team in preparing and coordinating tax reporting and compliance deliverables.
• Perform hands-on preparation, analysis, and project execution for tax compliance, tax accounting, technology, and special projects.
• Provide limited support for tax planning, M&A, investments, and strategic tax projects.
• Document current processes and support redesign and implementation of improvements.
• Maintain documentation of tax processes, procedures, and key controls.
• Support the use of technology to enhance tax processes and reporting capabilities.
• Identify potential tax savings opportunities and support execution of strategies.
