Job summary

Mango Analytics, based in Saint Paul, MN, seeks a Consultant to support Global Tax Services – Relief at Source & Reclaim Operations. You will help ensure proper tax treatment, monitor forms and deadlines, and collaborate with clients and custodians to resolve documentation gaps.

The role emphasizes preparing and tracking filings, reclaim packages, and maintaining strong controls across processes. 1–2+ years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Tax Relief at Source and Tax Reclaim.
• Knowledge of custody operations and/or securities operations.
• Exposure to withholding tax, ADRs, ordinary securities, or Double Taxation Treaties preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Experience working with operational systems, trackers, and documentation repositories.

Responsibilities

• Review client eligibility and documentation for reduced withholding tax treatment.
• Prepare, validate, and track market-specific tax forms, certifications, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor income events, market deadlines, and custodian requirements.
• Support onboarding documentation for future tax relief opportunities.
• Handle urgent documentation requests and eligibility validations.
• Work with clients, custodians, and internal teams to resolve documentation gaps and tax-service issues.
• Review reclaim eligibility after income payments to recover excess withholding tax.
• Prepare, submit, and monitor tax reclaim packages.
• Obtain certificates of residency, tax forms, and supporting documentation.
• Track claims through filing, payment, rejection, resubmission, and closure.
• Research reclaim rejections and coordinate corrective actions.
• Work with custodians, tax authorities, clients, and internal stakeholders on exceptions and payment validation.
