Qualifications

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

We are excited to announce an opening for a Tax Operations Analyst to join our team!

Role Overview:

As a Tax Analyst, you will support tax compliance and reporting, working closely with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the preparation and submission of annual tax reports, including Forms 1099, 1042-S, 8966 (FATCA), CRS, and related filings.
  2. Manage customer tax report requests and escalations through internal and vendor systems.
  3. Support ongoing tax withholding processes, including calculations, reconciliations, and adjustments.
  4. Respond to client inquiries regarding tax issues and support senior team members on FATCA, CRS, and QI topics.
  5. Contribute to data validation, testing, and documentation to ensure reporting accuracy.
  6. Participate in tax projects related to crypto products, working cross-functionally with product and support teams.
  7. Maintain internal documentation and SOPs.
  8. Collaborate with the Tax Compliance Director and senior analysts to execute the global tax compliance program.

Requirements:

  1. 1–2 years of experience in financial services, fintech, or accounting/audit environments.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (e.g., vlookup, pivot tables).
  4. Comfortable working with data and reconciling records.
  5. Familiarity with U.S. tax reporting (Forms 1099, W-8/W-9, FATCA, CRS) or a willingness to learn.
  6. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  7. Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience supporting retail clients in customer-facing or back-office roles.
  2. Exposure to crypto, brokerage, or fintech industries.
  3. Knowledge of international tax compliance frameworks.
  4. Understanding blockchain transactions and tax implications.
