Job summary

BDO USA in Milwaukee seeks a Tax Managing Director to advise clients on the tax implications of their business objectives, oversee compliance efforts, and lead engagements with senior teams and partners.

You will supervise associates and managers, develop strategic tax solutions across specialties, and actively participate in marketing, networking and business development while maintaining client relationships as the primary contact for complex issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics preferred.
• Masters in Accountancy or Taxation preferred.
• Ten (10) or more years of tax experience and/or public accounting exposure.

Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: oversee client compliance and firm policy adherence.
• Research: identify issues and report analysis clearly and concisely.
• ASC 740/FIN 48: apply tax provisions and reviews efficiently.
• Tax Consulting: develop and implement strategies to maximize client benefits.
• Tax Specialization: develop expertise across tax areas and advise clients.
• Strategy Development: propose improved strategies to reduce taxes and costs.
• Other duties as required.
