Aprio is seeking a Tax Manager to lead our Restaurant, Franchise & Hospitality practice, guiding tax professionals to help restaurant and hospitality clients navigate complex tax challenges and plan for growth. You will act as a trusted advisor to owners, franchisors, franchisees, and industry groups, delivering high-impact advisory services with leadership and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 6+ years of federal tax consulting/compliance in a public accounting firm.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Partnership, S-Corp, Individual, and Corporate tax returns.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Taxation.
• Preferred: CPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of tax professionals.
• Develop and implement tax strategies for restaurant, franchise, and hospitality clients.
• Provide consulting on mergers, acquisitions, entity restructuring, and industry credits.
• Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with federal requirements.
• Review tax returns across Partnership, S-Corp, Individual, and Corporate entities.
• Build and manage client relationships as the primary contact.
• Train and mentor team members to grow technical capabilities.
