Job summary

3 Bridge Networks is partnering with a growing private equity firm to hire a Tax Manager who will support the tax function across funds, the management company, and the investment platform. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that values technical depth and practical process-building.

The Tax Manager will collaborate with finance leadership, outside advisors, legal, and internal stakeholders on compliance, planning, reporting, and structuring to help scale tax processes as the platform grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive tax experience in PE, investment management, or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of partnership taxation and flow-through entities.
• Experience supporting private equity funds and alternative investments.
• Excellent time management and stakeholder coordination.
• Advanced Excel and tax/accounting systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance for funds, mgmt co, GP entities, and related structures.
• Coordinate federal, state, local returns, K-1s, extensions, estimates, investor reporting.
• Liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, admins, and service providers.
• Review tax workpapers, provisions, and supporting docs.
• Assist with tax planning, structuring, due diligence for fund formations and investments.
• Collaborate with legal, accounting, IR, and operations on tax matters.
• Monitor tax law developments and assess impacts.
• Support tax notices, audits, and correspondence with authorities.
• Improve tax processes, controls, and calendars.
• Assist with investor reporting and carried interest initiatives.
