Job summary

3 Bridge Networks LLC is seeking an experienced Director of Tax to lead the firm’s tax function across investment funds, a management company, GP entities, and related structures. The role partners closely with Finance, Legal, and investment teams to drive strategy and compliance.

The ideal candidate brings strong partnership tax experience, a background with venture capital or private equity funds, and a track record of advising senior leadership on complex tax matters, planning, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have strong partnership tax experience with complex investment fund structures.
• Experience supporting venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, or similar funds.
• Combination of public accounting and in-house investment management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax matters for investment funds, management company, GP entities, and related vehicles.
• Manage federal, state, local, and international tax compliance and reporting.
• Review partnership tax returns, Schedule K-1s, tax allocations, and workpapers.
• Lead quarterly and annual tax planning, including estimated payments and projections.
• Partner with external advisors and supervise tax filings preparation and review.
• Advise senior leadership on tax implications of funds formations, investments, exits, restructurings.
• Review fund structures to identify tax risks and planning opportunities.
• Oversee carried interest, management company operations, and partner reporting tax matters.
• Support investor tax reporting and respond to questions from investors and stakeholders.
• Monitor tax law changes and assess impact on firm, funds, and partners.
