Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Tax Director/Manager to join our Wisconsin practice. This role leads tax engagements, mentors staff, and partners with clients on succession planning and tax strategy across locations including Racine.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA (JD/EA acceptable) with 6 years in a large firm and 10+ years preferred, and demonstrate passion for public accounting and tax.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm.
• 10+ years experience highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA certification; a JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA.
• Desire to foster aspiring careers and join a high-performing team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to bring solutions.
• Passion for public accounting and tax.

About the role:

CLA is looking to hire Tax Manager or Director for our growing Wisconsin Tax practice. Locations include: Appleton, Green Bay, La Crosse, Madison, Milwaukee, Oshkosh, Racine, Sheboygan, Stevens Point, and Wausau.
