Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Director/Manager to join our Wisconsin Tax practice, with locations across the state including Milwaukee. You will consult with clients on tax planning, lead and review engagements, and mentor team members while advancing your career in public accounting and tax.

The ideal candidate has CPA credentials, a strong background in corporate and individual tax, and a passion for helping clients and communities.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, driving strategic management.
• 10+ years experience highly preferred.
• Active CPA certification. A JD or EA may be accepted in place of a CPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.

• Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement.
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

About The Role

CLA is looking to hire Tax Manager or Director for our growing Wisconsin Tax practice. Locations include: Appleton, Green Bay, La Crosse, Madison, Milwaukee, Oshkosh, Racine, Sheboygan, Stevens Point, and Wausau.
