Job summary

CLA, a top 10 national professional services firm, seeks a Tax Manager or Director to join its Wisconsin tax practice. You will consult with clients on business processes, lead tax engagements, and mentor staff, helping clients navigate complex tax issues and achieve strategic outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 6 years in a large firm, 10+ years preferred, with a bachelor's in accounting/finance and active CPA certification (JD/EA may substitute).

Qualifications

• Active CPA certification required; JD or EA may substitute.
• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm; 10+ years preferred.

About The Role

CLA is looking to hire Tax Manager or Director for our growing Wisconsin Tax practice. Locations include: Appleton, Green Bay, La Crosse, Madison, Milwaukee, Oshkosh, Racine, Sheboygan, Stevens Point, and Wausau.

As a Tax Director/Manager You Will

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.

As Our Ideal Candidate

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, driving strategic management.
• 10+ years experience highly preferred.
• You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• You have an active CPA certification. A JD or EA may be accepted in place of a CPA certification.
