CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Tax Director or Manager to join our Greater Chicagoland Tax practice. You will lead tax engagements, consult with clients on business processes, and help shape tax planning strategies.

With at least 6 years in public accounting, you will mentor staff, review complex returns, and build opportunities for clients and communities. CPA is required; JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• You have a minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm.




• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.




• CPA is required. JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA certification.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.

The compensation range for this position in Illinois is: $108,000.00 – $192,000.00
