Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Active CPA license required.
• Master's degree in Taxation preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive tax experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory/management experience in tax.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Experience with ASC 740 and tax provision reporting preferred.
• Proficiency with tax software such as CCH, Thomson Reuters, GoSystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop tax professionals across engagements.
• Manage multiple tax engagements and ensure timely deliverables.
• Review federal, state, local tax returns and supporting documents.
• Oversee tax returns for various entities and ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Serve as a technical resource for complex tax matters and regulatory changes.
• Conduct and review tax research and prepare memoranda.
• Manage tax audits and examinations with authorities.
• Oversee ASC 740 reporting where applicable.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and build client relationships.
• Collaborate with leadership and other service lines.
