Job summary

The Bonadio Group is seeking a Tax Manager in New York to lead tax planning and compliance for a diverse client base. You will manage projects, review complex returns, and mentor staff while expanding advisory services with cross‑border and industry exposure.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's in Accounting with a CPA or EA and at least five years in a public accounting tax environment. Office hours are standard business hours in NY and eligibility for inclusion in a growing Tax Service Line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Active CPA or EA certification required.
• Minimum five years of tax experience in public accounting or equivalent.
• Experience reviewing complex business and individual returns and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Project management and review of complex business and individual tax returns.
• Review and sign simple business and individual tax returns.
• Develop effective relationships with clients to provide tax planning, consulting and compliance services.
• Identify and research tax issues, developing resolutions and written conclusions.
• Assist in training staff and interns and explore new services.
