Accounting First Group seeks a Tax Manager in Ramsey, NJ to oversee tax engagements for closely held businesses, partnerships, corporations, and individuals. You will manage engagements, mentor staff, and collaborate with firm leadership to deliver high-quality tax services.

The role offers direct mentorship, clear advancement within our national platform, and opportunities to grow the New Jersey practice while advancing client relationships and tax planning capabilities.

Formación

• Public accounting tax leadership experience.
• Mentoring and staff development ability.
• Strong client relationship skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and review business, partnership, corporate, and individual tax engagements.
• Ensure tax deliverables are accurate, compliant, and completed on schedule.
• Prepare and review tax returns, projections, workpapers, and related documentation.
• Support tax-planning and advisory services for closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsiveness and technical expertise.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop senior accountants and staff accountants.
• Coordinate engagement workflow, deadlines, budgets, and scheduling.
• Research and resolve federal, state, and multistate tax matters.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to improve processes and client-service delivery.
• Support the implementation of technology and best practices across tax engagements.
• Work with colleagues across Accounting First Group’s national network.
