Job summary

Doeren Mayhew CPAs and Advisors in Florida seeks a Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and planning engagements, supervise staff, and deliver high-quality client service on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include reviewing C-Corp, S-Corp, partnership and individual returns, planning engagements from start to finish, researching issues, developing business for clients, and coaching staff to build strong talent in Punta Gorda & Miami, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license is required.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in domestic tax.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review private company tax returns (C-Corp, S-Corp, partnerships, individuals).
• Lead engagements from planning through completion; manage tax compliance, planning and provision projects.
• Review estimated tax payments and extensions.
• Coach and mentor staff to help them achieve career goals.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to practice growth.
